Talk by nutritionist Sarah Roberts from Feed the Family focusing on catering for a family with young children with advice to help improve your family's diet and make life easier!   The focus of this talk is how to cater for a family with children of pre-school and primary school age with lots of hints and tips to help make life easier and reduce the time spent in the kitchen. We will cover issues such as meal planning and multiple meal times; information on the nutritional needs of young children will be provided. This talk also offers practical advice for feeding fussy eaters, including ways to conceal disliked foods and strategies to introduce new ones.  You will be provided with several recipes for healthy snacks, with samples to taste, plus a useful handout to take away. We will end with a Q&A session so bring along any issues you are struggling with. Tickets are £10 and are strictly on a first come first served basis. Potty Masters: Gentle potty training class for parents (online) CLASS FOR PARENTS (one or both parents)  Whether you have attempted potty training before or this is your first time, this online class will give you the confidence to help your child develop mastery of this important milestone. Suitable for parents of children aged 0-4 years old.  In 45 minutes you will learn all the essentials you need to be ready to start supporting your little one to potty train. We will cover: How and when to go for it How to motivate your toddler and work as a team How to avoid common problems Included in the ticket price is registration onto Rebecca's online training portal for access to the Little Bunny Bear Essentials potty training course. This gives you over an hours worth of additional video content plus a 20 page print-at-home potty training plan to support you on your journey.  The material will support you to work in harmony with your child's natural instincts to learn when and how to successfully use the potty.  Rebecca is a registered Children's Nurse and a potty training specialist. FREE CLASS! Post Natal Health Workshop with Meg Vickers - Pelvic Floor Focus

Following on from February's post-natal health workshop (many thanks to Meg Vickers of Four Sides London) we have another one booked in for April focusing on the pelvic floor. The session will follow the same format as last month with a talk, short class and then Q&A. We would highly recommend you sign up if you can as she really is London’s leading women’s health physio and pilates instructor so her tips and advice are second to none! All are welcome, whether you just gave birth to your twins or they are now 5 years old. It's never too late to strengthen your body after twins!

We are super excited to bring you a talk from Alison Perry, author of the newly released OMG, It’s Twins, the fun and witty guide to getting your twins to their first birthday without loosing your mind! Alison is an award winning blogger with her site NotAnotherMummyBlog.com and also hosts the Not Another Mummy Podcast where she has chatted to guests such as Philippa Perry and Emma Bunton. Kids Zoom Cooking Class with @meerasmenu

We have arranged a fantastic members kids cooking class with @meerasmenu.  This will be a chance for your twins (and siblings!) to have a bit of lockdown fun with some basic recipes using ingredients we should all have around the home. The class will take place at 15:30 on Saturday 20th March, will last for 45-60 mins and is aimed at 2 - 6 year olds. Tickets cost £10 per family and classes are limited to 10 families each so please do sign up here quickly if you are keen. Tickets will be on sale until Monday 15th March and may well sell out quite quickly. Looking forward to seeing some of you there!

FREE TALK: Feeling Stronger after Twin Pregnancy: Part 1 - Recovering Tummy Tone and Strength

Learn how to really strengthen your “core”, the warning signs of when you may need some specialist physio, and which exercises to and not to do. This uplifting and educational session will guide us through the key facts on tummy muscle recovery, no matter how long ago your pregnancy was. We'll learn how strength is achieved and how important specifically targeted work is in retraining your core. The session will be roughly split into 3 sections: 1) intro and talk - 20mins, 2) mini pilates class / targeted exercises - 20 mins, 3) Q&A - 20 mins.

The session will be run by Christina Lydon, whose background is in the NHS & education. She currently works in the child development service at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and in various early years settings, alongside running School Readiness UK. It will cover emotional, developmental & logistical themes to help you be prepared as a whole family for the transition - with a focus on twin-specific advice! After the COVID-19 enforced hiatus, our first aid courses are finally back... online! We have a new instructor (Katie) who is an experienced professional first aid instructor, and is very keen to help you all feel more confident in dealing with those emergencies that we hope will never happen.  The session will be fully interactive, and covering topics such as CPR, recovery position, choking, bleeding, burns and what to keep in your first aid kit. Please join us for the first session on Wednesday 12th August 2020, at 745pm, from the comfort of your own home!  A link will be provided in due course, to all those who register.

We are pleased to announce that we are planning on running our second virtual talk on 14th May 2020 at 7.30pm. However to run this talk we need a certain number of people to make it cost effective we are aiming for £12 per person. If you are interested please purchase a free ticket and if we get the required amount we will then request the payment from you! The twins sleep workshop is run by Natalie Preston at Sleep Rocks. She’s a certified Child Sleep Consultant and a fellow twin parent. Natalie is passionate about helping parents improve their little people’s sleep for the health and benefit of the whole family unit. She understands the complexities of twin sleep, as well as having a singleton to throw into the mix.  This workshop, focusing on twins aged 1 year up to starting school, will cover: The science of sleep How sleep evolves by age Age appropriate routines and schedules: how much sleep does my toddler need? Nap transitions: when to expect them, how to recognise them and how to transition Night wakings and how to stop them Sleep training methods Your questions and concerns The workshop runs for around 1.5 hours and there will be opportunity to ask questions. It is tailored to parents of twins aged from 1 year to starting school.
