--- RESCHEDULED FROM LAST WEEK --- Following on from Rochana’s successful Antenatal Class 1 in November last year, this second session will focus on what to expect during the postnatal period with two babies - with a spotlight on kit/gadgets, safe sleeping and feeding. Rochana (@midwife_of_twins) is expertly positioned to deliver this talk as an experienced midwife at St George’s Hospital and a twin mum herself. This talk moves beyond the first year and looks at the sleep challenges faced by our twin toddlers. With all the rapid development they experience, how is sleep impacted and why? What can we do to maintain a healthy sleeping environment and what can your infant do now in terms of sleep that they couldn’t before? This will also include some tips on nutrition and sleep. As parents of multiples the decision to put our children in part time/tull time education from an earlv age brinas alona many questions ... Will It benefit our children... and us? it can also be overwhelming to think of the costs involved when its all double. However. there is support out there for us and we often don't know about it. This talk is an opportunity to hear about the benetts of early education and the support that is universallv offered to all parents to allow their children to access this.
