First Aid Course for parents/ carers of children age 5+ (at primary school)

The First Aid courses are excellent value for money and are always held locally in another WTC member's house. We have a maximum of 10 people for each course and plenty of time to cover the topics/ deal with any queries you may have. The course lasts for approximately 2.5 hours.  This one is being run specifically for those with children aged 5 and above.

The topics covered are -

Resuscitation

Choking

Fits/ febrile convulsions

Burns and scalds

Injury - finger amputation, spinal injury

Minor illnesses: temperatures, diarrhoea and vomiting, etc

There will be an opportunity to practise practical elements and you will also receive a handout to take away for future reference.

Costs are £25 per head and are open to parents, carers, grandparents, Au Pairs and nannies of multiples.

Please note that we require a minimum of 5 people to run each event.
